The invention of Diamande is largely due to the foresight
of Hemant Shah. The founder of the brand who has impressed the industry
constantly by his liberal and modern views and is always a step ahead in
introducing ideas that are fresh and well executed.
While the industry is getting warmed up to accept the man made diamonds into
their surroundings, Hemant Shah joined by Yuriko Menon has plunged right into
it and is launching Diamande at the IIJS 2007.
The brand name 'DIAMANDE' very obviously spells out Man Made Diamonds as
they are focused on making sure the buyer is fully aware as to the fact that
they are opting for cultured diamonds. To ensure that the diamonds are not
misused due to the price difference, Diamande diamonds will be only sold in the
form of manufactured pieces of jewellery. Also each piece of jewellery will be
accompanied by a certificate stating clearly that these are lab grown diamonds.
Currently we will be launching a collection in vivid yellow, light yellow and
shades of orange. We hope to introduce pinks in the next 6 to 8 months.
The man made diamonds in Diamande jewellery will be surrounded by natural
diamonds as to accentuate the brilliance of the colours. This will also be
clearly stated on the certificates.
Diamande will thus emerge as one of the country's pioneering brand in this
segment.
Thus foreseeing the future, Diamande has added the 5th 'C' - 'Created'
